This article describes how SEGGER's J-Link/ J-Trace probes and Flasher programmers can be used inside the virtualization software "Parallels Desktop for Mac".

Intel Macs

There are no known issues for using J-Link in Parallels Desktop on Macs with Intel processors (x64 architecture).
Simply install the most recent version of the J-Link software package inside the guest system and everything should work as expected.

M1 Macs

When using J-Link in Parallels Desktop on Macs with Apple-based silicon (M1) with Windows ARM as guest system,
the requirements described in 'J-Link on Windows ARM' must be considered before J-Link can be used inside the guest system.
