For non-commercial use and for education, you are welcome to use embOS free of charge under the SEGGER’s Friendly License (SFL).

Many universities, colleagues and schools already use embOS for their lectures. We are happy to assist these lectures and you can get direct support from the embOS developers.

Student

If you as a student would like to use embOS in your final thesis please don't hesitate to contact us and the embOS developer will support you. We can also read your final theses and check whether everything is correct regarding embOS.

Instructor

If you like to teach RTOS basics embOS is the perfect choice. You can use embOS easily with inexpensive hardware in your class. If you already use specific hardware which we don't support so far we can add support quickly and usually free of charge. You can use the embOS manual as a script and we can also help with your own script. If you would like to show your students some RTOS internals we could also share e.g. embOS source code extracts.
