A J-Link LITE ARM batch for Renesas that has been shipped in late 2017, incorrectly identifies as SAM-ICE at the PC.
Symptoms
- S/N shown in J-Link Commander / Configurator / ... does not match the S/N on the label
- J-Link Commander / Configurator / ... identify J-Link LITE as SAM-ICE
Affected serial numbers
J-Link LITE ARM which have the following serial number printed on their label, are affected:
- 228212820 - 228212919
Fix
- Download this zip package: File:jlinklite renesas samice fix.zip
- Extract the package
- Start JLink.exe from the extracted package
- Confirm the firmware update that is offered
