This article describes specifics for the ONSemi RSL15-EVB. It can be used to test & verify RSL15 support.
Minimum requirements
- J-Link software V7.82 or later
Preparing for J-Link
Either the built-in J-Link OB or an external J-Link may be used to connect to the target device.
Using J-Link OB
- Power the board via USB-C
- Verify the connection with e.g. J-Link Commander. The output should look as follows:
Using external J-Link
- Connect J-Link to the JTAG/SWD header (J3)
- Power the board via USB-C
- Verify the connection with e.g. J-Link Commander.
- Now the J-Link OB and the external J-Link are connected to the host. Make sure to select the desired J-Link when prompted.

Example Project
The following example project was created with the SEGGER Embedded Studio project wizard and runs out-of-the-box on the ONSemi RSL15-EVB V1.1. It is a simple count loop sample linked into the internal flash.
