This article describes specifics for the Nordic Semiconductor nRF9161-DK evaluation board.

Minimum requirements

  • J-Link software V7.92m or later

Preparing for J-Link

  • Connect the J-Link to the debug connector (P18)
  • Power the board USB Type-C Connector (J6)
  • Turn the power switch on (SW6)
  • Verify the Connection with e.g. J-Link Commander. The output should look as follows:
