This article describes specifics for the GigaDevice GD32A503-EVAL evaluation board.
Minimum requirements
- J-Link software V6.83 or later
Preparing for J-Link
- Connect the J-Link to the JTAG header (JP2)
- Power the board via USB (GD-LINK CN100)
- Verify the Connection with e.g. J-Link Commander. The output should look as follows:
Example Project
The following example project was created with the SEGGER Embedded Studio project wizard and runs out-of-the-box on the Mindmotion PLUS5270 MM32F5270.
It is a simple Hello World sample linked into the internal flash.
SETUP
- J-Link software: V6.83
- Embedded Studio: V6.34
- Hardware: Mindmotion PLUS5270 MM32F5270
